Take the Survey
The purpose of the survey is to collect input as to where people would like the County and its municipalities to make capital investments in parks and recreation. This survey is an opportunity for every resident to have their voice heard.
Take the County Recreation Survey.
About the Survey
Warren County is working on a county-wide Recreation and Greenways Plan and needs your input! County residents and interested stakeholders are invited to share their opinions to help shape the County’s future regarding parks, recreation and trails/greenways. Everyone who completes a survey by March 1, 2020 will be entered into a drawing to win one of several prizes, courtesy of the Warren County Visitors Bureau.
The public survey is part of the ongoing Warren County Recreation and Greenways Plan. The purpose of the plan is to help the County determine where and what investments to make in parks, recreation, trails and greenways over the next 10 years. The survey is an opportunity for every resident to have their voice heard. “We want to know what parks and trails County residents are using. What types of facilities or programs you would use if offered. And where you think Warren County should invest in parks and recreation in the future. We are encouraging all County residents to take the survey, which should only take about 10 minutes to complete,” said County Planning Director Dan Glotz.
The City of Warren is also conducting a parks and recreation plan in conjunction with the County plan. A separate public survey is available online to gather more specific input related to City parks and recreation facilities. The survey can be accessed via the City’s website at https://www.cityofwarrenpa.gov/ under the heading “Parks and Recreation Improvements Survey.”
The Warren County Recreation and Greenways Plan is being funded in part by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Community Conservation Partnerships Program and is being completed by Mackin Engineering Company, a planning firm out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
